The Bank of Ireland Award for Most Innovative Product

The winner was;

Butterfly Snacks- Blackburn, Lancashire

Butterfly Snacks is a family owned business specialising in the manufacture of savoury snacks. Suitable for gluten free and Coeliac diets, their products have been developed from South Asian Heritage of its proprietors and influenced by modern international taste.

In conjunction with Kendal College and with support from Manchester Metropolitan Unversity, Butterfly Snacks have developed a new range of products that provide an exciting new taste experience to a group who had been denied more adventurous eating. Recipes are all made without wheat and include four different types of samosas, including Halal and vegetarian options, chicken and vegetable spring rolls and 'Zingers' crumbed chicken fillets.
